Reverse Osmosis Systems

Achieving Total Dissolved Solids Reduction

“Utilizing Semipermeable Membranes in Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Technology.”

Reverse Osmosis (RO) stands as a remarkably efficient water treatment process capable of reducing dissolved mineral salts, organics, and other particles by as much as 99.5%. This is accomplished by applying pressure to force water through a semipermeable membrane. The term “Reverse Osmosis” aptly describes this process because it operates in a manner contrary to the natural osmotic process. In natural osmosis, water from a solution with a low concentration of dissolved solids flows through a membrane in an attempt to dilute a solution with a higher concentration of solids.

Commercial & Industrial Reverse Osmosis Systems Across Texas and Beyond

Rainbow Water Purification specializes in engineered reverse osmosis systems ranging in size from 1 gallon per minute (1440 gallons per day) to 500 gallons per minute (720,000 gallons per day). Our systems are designed to remove up to 99.5% of dissolved salts, as well as virtually all colloidal and suspended matter. These systems are equipped to tackle the most challenging feed waters, including municipal, brackish, and seawater applications. For larger demands, we offer the option to combine multiple sets of RO train units for high parallel flow configurations.

Expert Reverse Osmosis System Maintenance

Our commitment to your water treatment system doesn’t end with installation. Rainbow Water Purification offers preventive maintenance agreements to ensure that your pre and post-treatment systems consistently operate at peak performance. Collaborating with an experienced process engineer, we tailor a customized preventive maintenance schedule specifically for your system. Furthermore, we employ computer modeling to project specialty RO non-ionic organic chemicals such as anti-scalants, bisulfites, biocides, and polymer aids. With this proprietary calibration, we confidently guarantee that your system always operates according to its engineered specifications.

Comprehensive Support for Reverse Osmosis Units

Our team of Master Service Technicians is at your service, ready to assist with consulting, retrofitting, re-calibration, or providing technical support for both new and existing Reverse Osmosis Units.
